In this relaxing boat tour of the city of Taranto we will see the San Cataldo ring with its freshwater jet in the middle of the sea, the statues of the three sirens, the promenade of the old city up to the Greek columns, the Aragonese castle and the swing bridge; then we will take a tour in the small sea, we will see the old military naval base and the Punta Pen bridge; we will visit the underwater freshwater spring, and we will end at the stone bridge, the last of the two bridges that connect old Taranto to the rest of the city.

If you choose the longer tour, we will continue to visit the Cheradi islands, sailing between the islands of San Paolo (with its military stronghold) and San Pietro, where you can also take a swim. It is recommended to bring food and drink.

Costs 

The cost is € 35 per person for the tour of taranto city, and € 45 per person for the complete tour that also reaches the Cheradi islands. The boat tour is included with the organizer’s explanations, while meals, snacks, or anything not mentioned are not included. Boat parties, hen or stag parties and other events with private use of the boat are also possible, with a cost communicated directly by the Organizer.

Starting time

The departure time can be agreed with the organizer. The taranto tour from the sea, which includes the great and small seas, lasts about 2 hours. How to get there

The departure is from the old city of Taranto, or otherwise another starting point is available just outside in the San Vito area, which also allows you to see the new military naval base. In the low season, some organizers may provide a free ride to reach the departure point outside the city. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early. Language

Some organizers speak only Italian, while some also speak English or use translation devices. In case of request, it is possible to have an interpreter on board for other languages, with a small surcharge. In any case, the tour is absolutely enjoyable and also recommended for guests who speak a language other than the captain.

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd). This activity depends on the weather conditions: in case the organizer judges the ctivity not feasible, he can propose to postpone it or, if impossible, can cancel it (with full refund).
