Car-Cross excursion in the Itria Valley between Castellana and Monopoli

Description

Explore the Apulian countryside of the Itria Valley, with its nature, its olive trees, dry stone walls, in this fun buggy ride! There will not only be the fun, but we will also make several stops to see the most beautiful spots of the area, with visits to ancient farms and rock churches dating 900 AD to know about of their history. After that, back at the wheel. We will have fun for sure! Recommended to wear comfortable clothing, and to use glasses and a bandana to protect yourself from dust.

Costs

The cost is € 125 per car, and each buggy has 2 participants. This means that, for example, 5 people will take 3 buggies.

Starting time

Departure times are generally in the morning at 9 or 11, and in the afternoon at 15 or 17. However, the departure time can be agreed with the organizer. It is recommended to arrive 10 minutes before the start. The duration is about 1.30 / 2 hours, also having free time to ask questions or short stops in some particular places. Departures take place from May to September, usually with 2 tours per day, and in August they reach 5 tours per day (one every 2 hours).

How to get there

The departure is near Castellana and we will explore the area between Castellana, Monopoli and Conversano. After booking it will be possible to speak by phone for more details and to indicate the precise position.

Requirements

The driver of each buggy must have the driving license B. The minimum age required for accompanying children is 3 years.

Language

The PlacenPeople organizers who lead the tour speak Italian. In some cases the English language is also available, alternatively an audio guide via telephone.

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd). This activity depends on the weather conditions: in case the organizer judges the ctivity not feasible, he can propose to postpone it or, if impossible, can cancel it (with full refund).
