Tour of the Murgia by electric bike

Description

Murgia is a land that must be appreciated slowly by immersing yourself in its history, traditions and flavors. Every corner of this area deserves to be observed with the right attention to ‘zero impact’ so you can enjoy the beauty of this track on two wheels. You will cycle and walk on routes drawn from history, such as our sheep tracks and dirt tracks. If you have chosen soft mobility and nature-tourism, you know how precious and unique the environment around you is.

Gioia-Noci route, duration 4 hours, 17 km outward round route, rural routes through woods, small trulli, grazing animals, farm (near Noci), stop at Benedictine monks abbey, wine tasting and typical food tastings at the end of the tour (Gioia area).

Costs 

Price 80 euro/pers up to 5 people, from 6 onwards discounts are available.

The tour cost also includes tastings, helmet, and full liability insurance. Children do not pay, they only pay for the seat (10 eur).
If you want to hire a bike and cycle by yourself, the price is 40 euros per bike, transport per km starting from Gioia, 1 euro per km (round trip already calculated) max transport of 10 bikes.

Starting time

The starting time can be agreed with the organizer. The duration is approximately 4-6 hours.

We will meet at the agreed point. After booking we will be able to give you all the necessary information.

This experience is available in Italian and English, interpreter on request.

How to book

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd). This activity depends on the weather conditions: if the organizer judges that the activity is not feasible, he can propose to postpone it or, if impossible, he can cancel it (with full refund).
