Boat tour in Porto Cesareo

Description

In this boat tour we will take a long tour starting north, to visit an intriguing place where ancient Roman columns, lying on the seabed a few meters deep, are visible thanks to the transparency of the crystalline water. If the season allows it, whoever wants to, can also swim. We will then sail along the coast, to admire the nature and the clarity of the waters; coming back returning you can land on the “island of rabbits”, a semi-wild island in front of Porto Cesareo. Our boats, thanks to their shape, are among the few to have the opportunity to land on the island, which has a particularly shallow seabed. Comfortable clothing is recommended, and footwear that allows you to enter the boat by placing your foot in the water. We will spend approximately 1 hour and 20 in the boat, and the remaining time will be free to go around in the island. On request, with a little surcharge, it is possible to make the tour longer to reach Punta Prosciutto (duration 2 hours).

Costs 

The cost is € 20 per person and includes transport by boat. Those who want, can choose to stay on the island of rabbits (by being picked up later by the taxi service -3 €). Some community organizers may offer on-demand services to be specified prior to booking. (e.g. requesting the private use of the entire boat starts from € 80 for 2 people, or requesting an aperitif on board, or ask to extend the tour until reaching Punta Prosciutto 42 € / pers with at least 4 pers).

Starting time

The boat tours to the Roman columns last about 1 hour and 20 and departures are staggered throughout the day. The season in which the tours are open is from March to September.

The departure is from Porto Cesareo. We recommend arriving 10 minutes before departure. After booking it will be possible to speak by phone for more details.

Language

The organizers speak a very basic English (but this is not a problem for enjoying the tour).

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd). This activity depends on the weather conditions: in case the organizer judges the ctivity not feasible, he can propose to postpone it or, if impossible, can cancel it (with full refund).
