Enjoy leaving from the port of Bari on a superb sailing boat. Whether it’s a catamaran, or a single-hulled boat from our small fleet, sailing with us will be exciting, and will allow you to see how a boat steers according to the wind, and admire the city from the sea, even reaching some close towns. the skipper will be able to provide you with historical and artistic information on the city of Bari and on the monuments visible from the sea, such as, for example: the basilica of S. Nicola, the Margherita Theatre, the Wall, the Palazzo della Provincia, the Kursaal Santalucia Theatre. The tour may include a stop for a swim. The catamaran, due to its small draft, can get very close to the coast, offering a close view of the city. I recommend you to wear comfortable clothing and sneakers or other rubber footwear.

The experience can have two durations:

– half day, morning or afternoon/evening (and see the city lights)

– full day, with favourable wind you can also reach the towns of Torre a Mare or Giovinazzo.

– weekend, you can sleep on board (max 6 people) and live the unique experience of watching a sunrise from a boat.

Taking the whole boat, the tour will be private (no outsiders can join), and it is ideal for couples who want to dedicate a romantic moment or for families who love to relax.

During the trip there will also be a light lunch typical of Puglia: rustic pizzas, cheese and local products tasting, and more..

This activity is managed by multiple organizers, according to their availability, we will provide you with all the additional information when you contact us for the reservation.

Costs 

The price is for the entire boat, to be divided among the participants (max 10) and includes the work of the skipper and the meal provided on board; it also depends on the duration of the trip:

-From 340 € for the half-day trip (about 4 hours)

-From 500 € for a full day trip (8 hours approximately)

-An additional fee for overnight stay will be required

The price does not include anything not expressly mentioned.

Starting time

The departure time can be agreed with the organizer (skipper) according to availability. For the afternoon departure, 5.30 pm is recommended to enjoy the sunset, returning home just before midnight. It is important to arrive 15 minutes before the start. Departures take place all year round, but the most recommended period is between May and September.

Requirements

It is better to know how to swim, or otherwise notify the captain in advance, in order to provide for additional safety measures.

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd). This activity depends on the weather conditions: in case the organizer judges the ctivity not feasible, he can propose to postpone it or, if impossible, can cancel it (with full refund).
