Clay and stone workshop in Gargano

Description

The PlacenPeople organizer of this very interesting clay and stone workshop is an artist with many years of experience, who faithfully creates terracotta artefacts from the Daunia period from the 10th to the 3rd century BC. It will be a pleasure to do it together with you: you will be able to create amphorae and many other objects even of fantasy, and you will be revealed secrets on how to paint and decorate these objects by hand. It is also possible to choose between the clay and ceramic workshop, with an experience on the lathe (hands-on), or that of the stone, in which you will try your hand at sculpture and you can take home the newly sculpted work of art. In short, together with the artist you will live a half day to be remembered and a unique experience.

*Costs 

The cost is € 35 per person for the clay workshop and € 40 per person for the stone workshop. The cost includes the artist’s lesson and the materials used. If a round trip car ride is required, a cost reimbursement of  € 15 must be added (to be increased in the case of long distances).

Starting time

The departure time can be agreed with the organizer. The duration is about 3 and a half hours. The laboratory is available all year round.

How to get there

The laboratory is in Gargano, accessible by car or bus. With a small reimbursement of expenses, the organizer is available to give a ride with her car, taking guests from neighboring countries (up to Foggia).

Language

The organizer speaks Italian and French. A translator can be available in english for a small cost.

How to book

💳- You will pay a deposit with PayPal or card. Activities in PlacenPeople are sold directly by the Organizers.

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd).
