Paramotor flight in Puglia (Molfetta)

Description

The paramotor flight is a highly adrenaline-pumping experience, yet in complete safety. Our organizers are experienced and have all the necessary licenses. All the maneuvers will be carried out by the instructor, and in tandem with him you will be able to discover the magic of the suspended flight between the three elements: the earth, the sea, the sky of Puglia. Unlike paragliding, in the paramotor you will use the propulsive thrust of the propeller, and therefore no updrafts will be necessary to gain altitude. You will see the coastline, the city of Molfetta, the Apulian countryside. We will spend about 25 minutes in flight, and an initial 15 minutes of briefing. The experience is also suitable for first-time users and children. Comfortable clothing and shoes are preferable, and the equipment (helmet, and jacket if necessary) will be provided by the organizer. The helmets are equipped with a bluetooth connection, you will be able to talk, take photos, and even communicate via radio if you want to with any companions on the ground (who can also take photos of you during one of the passages).

Costs 

The cost is 120 € per person, and includes 25 minutes of flight with the instructor, the initial lesson (15 min), equipment rental, insurance. In the case of minors, couples or groups, a discount on the individual fee is possible. Guests can fly one at a time, for up to 5 people.

Starting time

The flight lasts about 25 minutes, while the short initial briefing takes about 15 minutes, for a total duration of 40 minutes. The recommended times are in the morning or at sunset (winter around 4.30 pm, summer around 7.30 pm). However, the time can be agreed with the instructor when booking.

How to get there

The powered paragliding instructors of the PlacenPeople community are located in the Molfetta area, which will allow you to enjoy the view from above of one of the most beautiful and characteristic natural landscapes of Puglia. The departure point must be reached by car by the guest, we recommend 15 minutes in advance. If transport is required to reach the runway, PlaceNPeople’s support can be requested.

Requirements

No special requirements are required, however when booking it is necessary to communicate your weight if it exceeds 95 kg to make specific arrangements. Pre-flight brefing is mandatory.

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd). This activity depends on the weather conditions: in case the organizer judges the ctivity not feasible, he can propose to postpone it or, if impossible, can cancel it (with full refund).
