Pizzica traditional dance class in Lecce

Description

Hello everyone, in this pizzica workshop in just over 2 hours we will learn the basics of Pizzica Salentina, a traditional Apulian dance that is entertaining and at the same time steeped in historical meanings. The Pizzica has ancient roots, and has been used both as a form of seduction between man and woman, both to alleviate with the movement the effect of poison for those who had been bitten by the tarantula (hence the name “pizzica” -> pinch).

I will tell you briefly the story of this dance, after which we will immerse ourselves in the main movements, and we will come together to dance, which will remain as a memory of the experience. Come with comfortable clothes (and maybe a change), and bring with you the desire to have fun and curiosity! I wait for you!

Costs 

The cost is € 40 per person for a minimum of 2 participants, and includes the lesson by the dancer.

Starting time

The starting time can be agreed with the organizer. The laboratory is available all year round.

Meeting point in Lecce, depending on the day we will choose different places, but all cute!

The organizers speak Italian, English, French.

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd). This activity depends on the weather conditions: in case the organizer judges the ctivity not feasible, he can propose to postpone it or, if impossible, can cancel it (with full refund).
