Ice cream is perhaps the most famous of Italian desserts. Come to a real ice-cream laboratory, and learn the art from those who make it for a living. You will be able to observe a master ice cream maker at work, and then try your hand at preparing a real “gelato”. You will find the ingredients available, and above all the expert advice of the masters of the PlacenPeople community. In the end … we eat! You will be able to taste various flavors of ice cream, and evaluate yourself based on what you have learned. Ice cream is consumed all over the world, and despite its incredible fame it remains one of the emblems of the culture of the Bel Paese. Do you want to come and experience it yourself with us?
The participation fee for this type of experience is € 30 per person with a minimum of 2. It includes the lesson, the use of the ingredients, and the final ice cream tasting. Classes are formed from 2 to 4 participants per group. If there is availability, even a single person can join an already created group
The starting time is communicated by the organizer, and generally the workshop takes place in the afternoon. The duration of this workshop is about an hour and a half.
How to get there
The pastry workshops of the PlacenPeople community are located in Bari, in the center, easily reachable on foot (even from old Bari). More information is provided at the time of booking.
The organizers speak Italian and a basic English, but this does not prevent from enjoying the workshop.
