I will guide you in a sensory excursion between the typical Apulian cheeses, and more. We will begin our tour in the masseria from the production of the oil. We will continue to meet the animals: hens, cows and calves, to see the entire path of the milk, from milking, to curd, to spinning, and you can try yourself in “putting your hands in the dough” creating the mozzarella. Since I am sure that at this point you will be hungry … we will proceed with a rich tasting of local products at km 0: extra virgin olive oil, good taralli, crispy friselle and fragrant freshly baked bread in a wood oven; there will be wine, water, 3 types of cheeses, cured meats (capocollo and salami), mozzarella and burrata. And the crumbled ricotta and chocolate as dessert. All your senses, from sight, to taste, to smell, to touch, will be fully satisfied by this food experience and … I assure you that you will not want to leave!
The cost is € 25 per person with a minimum of 3 people, and includes the lesson held and the ingredients used.
The starting time of the workshop is flexible and can be agreed with the Organizer. The workshop lasts about 2 hours and is available all year round.
How to get there
The meeting will be directly at the farm of our organizer, a place easily accessible by car, near Alberobello. After booking, the Organizer will contact you to give more information..
The organizers speak a basic English; anyway this is not a problem for understanding each other while using the ingredients, the workshop is very practical 🙂 In case you prefer to have a translator, this is possible with a little extra (ask during reservation).
