Almond paste workshop in Bari

Description

The famous Apulian almonds, what a passion! From these a very sweet pasta is made: almond paste, which is processed to create delicious traditional sweets, and even small sculptures! Come to a real local pastry laboratory, and learn the art of almond paste from those who have been working it for a lifetime. In addition, between one break and another, you will also be shown how to make the famous pasticciotto, a sweet of Salento origin, which is currently becoming popular throughout Puglia! In this lesson you will be able to observe a pastry chef at work, and after which you will try your hand at preparing the almond paste and pasticciotto. You will find the ingredients available, and above all the expert advice of the masters of the PlacenPeople community. In the end … we eat! This activity is managed by multiple organizers, according to their availability, we will provide you with all the additional information when you contact us for the reservation.

Costs 

The participation fee for this type of experience is € 30 per person with a minimum of 2. It includes the lesson, the use of the ingredients, and the final tasting of almond paste cakes and pasticciotti. Classes are formed from 2 to 8 participants per group. If there is availability, even a single person can join an already created group.

Starting time

The starting time is communicated by the organizer, and generally the workshop takes place in the afternoon. The duration of this workshop is about an hour and a half.

How to get there

The pastry workshops of the PlacenPeople community are located in Bari, easily reachable on foot from the old town. More information is provided at the time of booking.

Language

The organizers speak Italian and a basic English, but this does not prevent from enjoying the workshop.

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd). This activity depends on the weather conditions: in case the organizer judges the ctivity not feasible, he can propose to postpone it or, if impossible, can cancel it (with full refund).
