Orecchiette lesson and lunch in Monopoli

Take part in this fascinating culinary workshop, immersed in the heart of splendid Puglia, in a refined villa, for an unforgettable experience.

During this special day, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the Apulian tradition by learning how to make the famous orecchiette, a fresh pasta in the shape of “little ears” prepared with skill by expert local cooks. You will discover the secrets of their creation, handed down from generation to generation, and you will let yourself be captivated by the authentic and genuine atmosphere that characterizes this ancient craft.

But that’s not all: in addition to orecchiette, you will also learn how to prepare the delicious taralli, delicious rings of crumbly and tasty pasta, typical of Apulian cuisine. Tradition will be at the heart of the whole experience, and the passion of our chefs will guide you through every step of the preparation process, from the creation of the dough to the baking.

After the culinary workshop, a tasty lunch awaits you, a real feast for the palate, with the opportunity to taste an authentic selection of typical Apulian foods. They will delight you with a menu full of local specialities, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, to immerse you fully in the culinary tradition of this region.

The villa is set in an uncontaminated natural environment, surrounded by the lush greenery of the centuries-old olive trees. After lunch, you can relax in the olive grove or by the pool, enjoying an atmosphere of tranquility and serenity that only the Apulian countryside can offer.

Furthermore, you will be able to make friends with some of the cutest inhabitants of the villa: adorable little goats, which you will find in a specially fenced area. You will have the opportunity to stop, observe them and enjoy the magic of an encounter with unspoilt nature.

Costs 

The cost of the workshop is €68 per person and includes lunch. Discounts are possible for children up to 12 years.

Starting time

The starting time can be agreed with the organizer. The duration is approximately 4 hours.

We are a short distance from Monopoli, reachable by car. After booking we will be able to give you all the necessary information.

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd).
