Day in a farm in Maglie with light lunch

Description

If you love outdoor experiences, join us in a typical Salento farm, where you can get to know the real rural life, visit the drying fields and greenhouses, savor the typicality of genuine products and smell the air of the farm. Have you ever driven on a tractor? Well we’ll try it! It will be an eco-sustainable experience in contact with nature, suitable for both young people and families. Together we will do a cooking demonstration and we will taste a genuine soft lunch with freshly picked vegetables!

Just to give you an example: bruschetta alla leccese, broad beans and chicory, or fresh Salento pasta with tomato and burratina, cheese and grilled and / or canned and / or raw vegetables, wine, water. The dining area will be external or internal according to the weather forecast. If you want to take something home, guests of the PlacenPeople community will have a 10% discount on local products.

Cost

The cost is € 40 per person, lasts 4 hours, and includes a full-bodied tasting of local products and the presence of the organizer for the visit of the farm. On request, it is possible to spend the whole day (8 hours) and collect local seasonal products, at a total cost of € 70 per person, including light lunch.

Starting time

The visit generally begins at 10.00 in the morning and lasts 4 hours; the Organizer could, according to production needs, ask for a different time when booking. The visit is available all year round.

How to get there

The company is located near Maglie. It is not difficult to arrive, and you can arrive by car. The organizer will give all the necessary information by phone as soon as the reservation is made.

The organizers speak Italian and English.

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd). This activity depends on the weather conditions: in case the organizer judges the ctivity not feasible, he can propose to postpone it or, if impossible, can cancel it (with full refund).
