Trekking excursion in Porto Selvaggio – Salento

Description

Let yourself be involved in the natural landscape of Porto Selvaggio, go down south and come and walk with our organizers in the first natural park of Puglia, among the scents of myrtle and resin, in a place rich in traces of prehistoric man, history and stories. Crossing the park for its entire length will be relaxing but at the same time very interesting, because it will allow you to travel on foot between the places of many historical events in Salento, to finally discover the natural beauty of this corner of the Mediterranean. The route is also suitable for untrained people, but in good physical shape (better if used to trekking). Recommended equipment: long or hiking pants except summer, insect repellent, sports or trekking shoes, snack, personal water supply of at least 1.5 liters. Packed lunches is recommended and free picnic areas are available.

Costs 

*The cost is € 25 per person, with a minimum of 4 people (or at least € 100 per group); the duration is 5 hours, and the cost includes the guide service of the organizer inside the park. Lunch is not included.

Starting time

The starting time is flexible, however the organizer reserves the right to indicate one precisely during the booking phase (some PlacenPeople organizers recommend departure at 10 am).

How to get there

The place of departure can be reached by own means and will be indicated at the confirmation of the activity. It is not complicated to arrive, and you can arrive by car. Some organizers are available to give a free ride by car (depending on the place of departure). The organizer will give all the necessary information by phone as soon as the reservation is made.

Language

The organizers speak Italian, for the English language it is recommended to have an interpreter at a small additional cost.

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd).
