Tour of Bari by little train + Guided Walking Tour

Description

Experience Bari from a charming little train that will take you on a scenic tour of the city, stopping at all the main landmarks for fascinating walks through the alleys of the old town. At a certain point on the route, guides will lead you on a walking tour through the most beautiful parts of the city: the Basilica of San Nicola, the Cathedral, the main squares of old Bari, and the Svevo Castle. The tour is available in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. During the tour, we’ll also have a chance to make a brief stop to delve into the folk traditions of Bari.

Costs 

The cost is €25 per adult, and €15 for children from 6 to 12 years. Discounts for large groups are available (please chat with PlacenPeople for more details). No discount is offered for showing up directly at the location; in fact, there is a risk of not finding a seat on board without a reservation

Starting time

The tour lasts about 2 hours or more, and is available only on certain days of the week; on Saturdays and Sundays, from late April onwards, it starts at 10 AM. However, it is already possible to book private train tours for groups of at least 15-20 people, with the option to choose the departure time. Reservations should be made by contacting PlacenPeople, at least 3 days in advance.

How to get there

The train has a defined itinerary, and the stops where you can join the tour, are located around the old town of Bari: 1) Castello Svevo, 2) Piazza Ferrarese sea side 3) Port Authority.

Language

The organizers speak Italian and English. It is possible to request guides who speak Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, and other languages (chat with PlacenPeople to know the languages available at all times).

How to book

💳- You will pay a deposit with PayPal or card. Activities in PlacenPeople are sold directly by the Organizers.

👍- You and the Organizer will talk by phone and meet on the day of the activity. You will complete the payment directly to him/her. 

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd).
