Falconry experience and eagle flight in Itria Valley

Description

With a skilled falconer, with a long experience in training falcons and eagles, we will go to one of the most beautiful Apulian countryside to fly these spectacular birds of prey together. The falconry experience has fascinated travelers for years, giving emotions and unforgettable memories; and while our friends will explain their wings in the sky, we will find a contact with nature that is unknown to most people. You will take part in the demonstration of flight, you will listen to the practice of the training and you will be able to caress and take pictures with these superb animals.

This activity is managed by multiple organizers, according to their availability, we will provide you with all the additional information when you contact us for the reservation.

Costs 

The cost is € 25 per person for a minimum of 2 participants, and includes the work of the instructor. Discounts are available for children under 10. The cost does not include snacks or other things not specified. The experience is available from the end of March to October.

Starting time

The departure time is agreed with the organizer, and depends on the weather conditions. In any case, it is important to arrive 15 minutes before the start. Flights run all year round.

How to get there

We will meet in a farm easily accessible by car, near Alberobello or Locorotondo, from which we will then reach the promontory from which to fly our animals. After booking it will be possible to speak by phone for more details.

Language

The organizer speaks Italian and a very basic English. It is possible on request to have an interpreter on place with a little extra cost.

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd). This activity depends on the weather conditions: in case the organizer judges the ctivity not feasible, he can propose to postpone it or, if impossible, can cancel it (with full refund).
