Description
Meet a very particular inhabitant of Taranto, who lives in a very special house-museum. This place will offer you a breathtaking view from the roofs of the ancient village of Taranto with a view of the two Seas. The tour continues in the Wheat Museum where there are work tools for wheat and the books, photos and private collections of a very famous poet and art critic, Raffaele Carrieri.
The museum has, in addition to the tools of wheat processing, texts, magazines, photos of the great poet from Taranto.
The visit will continue in the company of Calogero inside his very particular house. The furniture recalls the style of the early 1900s with collectibles, knick-knacks and vintage supellettiles.
Costs
The cost is € 15 per person for min. 1 person and max. 15 people. Anything not mentioned is excluded.
Starting time
The starting time can be agreed with the organizer. The duration is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
How to get there
From the Taranto Railway Station take a direct bus which goes to Piazza Castello and there you will find Calogero who will take you to his house in a few minutes on foot.
Language
The organizer speaks Italian.
