Visit of the wine house with tasting in Turi

This tour offers a complete experience to learn about the winemaking process, discover the history of the historic cellar of 1882 and taste some of the wines produced with native Apulian grape varieties, as well as delighting in the typical local products.

The tour begins in the vineyard attached to the Casa Vinicola, where you can discover the grape varieties grown and learn about the soil, climate and specific cultivation practices of the Puglia region.

Continuing, you will have the opportunity to visit the historic 1882 cellar, where you can admire the traditional tools used in winemaking and learn about the history of the winery’s production over the years.

During the tour, you will be shown the casks and barriques in the underground cisterns, used for aging the wines, and you can learn how they affect the taste and aroma of the wines.

An illustration of the native grape varieties grown in Puglia, such as Primitivo, Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera and others, will be offered, with explanations of their history and distinctive characteristics.

The tour will end with a tasting experience of the wines produced by the Casa Vinicola, paired with typical local products, such as cheeses, cured meats and other gastronomic delicacies of the region.
