Cooking Class on the Amalfi Coast

Description

In the heart of the Amalfi Coast, in Conca dei Marini, three authentic culinary experiences await you, blending tradition, conviviality, and the true flavors of southern Italy:

• Pizza Class: during the lesson, you’ll prepare pizza dough using genuine ingredients and learn traditional leavening techniques. Then, using pre-prepared dough, you’ll shape your own panetti, add toppings, and watch them bake in a wood-fired oven.
  At the end, enjoy your freshly baked pizzas along with a homemade dessert (tiramisù) and included beverages. The experience concludes with a lunch, aperitif, or dinner, depending on the chosen time.
  
• Cooking Class: a complete Italian cooking experience where you’ll prepare potato gnocchi, tiramisù, the base for a traditional pasta sauce, bruschette, and a typical fresh fish dish from the coast. Everything is made with local ingredients under the guidance of an experienced chef.
  At the end, you’ll share and savor what you’ve cooked during a convivial lunch or dinner.
  
• Limoncello Class: a more relaxed and social experience in a sharing format, starting with a walk through a lemon garden. During the class, some participants help prepare homemade limoncello, learning the secrets behind the famous Amalfi liqueur. The activity continues with an aperitif featuring local products and ends with a light lunch overlooking the lemon groves.
  It’s also possible to book a private Limoncello Class for a more intimate and personalized experience.

• Pizza Class: €150 per person (max 8 people)
• Cooking Class: €150 per person (max 8 people)
• Limoncello Class (max 14 people):
  • Sharing option (with other participants): €75 per person
  • Private option: €100 per person

It’s possible to combine the Limoncello Class with one of the other two experiences at a special rate. Contact our team for more information.

Starting time

For the Pizza Class and Cooking Class, two sessions are available, each lasting about 3 hours:

• Morning: 9:30 – 11:30, followed by approximately one hour for lunch
• Afternoon: 14:30 – 17:00, followed by approximately one hour for aperitif/dinner

For the Limoncello Class, two time slots are available depending on the format, each lasting about 1 hour (plus 1–2 hours for lunch):

• Sharing option: 12:30
• Private option: 12:00

Where it takes place

The experience takes place in Conca dei Marini, near Amalfi. Further details about the location will be shared after booking.

The organizers speak English and Italian.

How to book

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd).

This activity depends on the weather conditions: in case of unfavorable weather, the organizer can propose to postpone it or, if impossible, will cancel it (with full refund).
