Do you know prince “Farrata”? PlacenPeople organizers are waiting for you for an unforgettable tasting of the delicious local products of Daunia and local wine, and above all for a real demonstration on how to make the rustic prince of the Gargano: farrata! Together we will understand how the process takes place, their characteristics, and the “secret” that makes them something truly unique for the palate. The preparation takes about 30 min, then there will be cooking, 10 min, and finally the tasting. It will also be possible to participate in some phases of the creation, although not all, by putting the “hands in the dough”: for example during the closing of the filling, which can be ricotta or other ingredients. In the end, farrata for everyone! You can’t miss it!
*The cost is € 20 per person for groups of at least 3 people. For individuals or couples the cost is 25 € / person. The cost includes the cook’s lesson and the ingredients used.
The departure time can be agreed with the organizers who are available in the morning (preferably) between 10 and 13, or in the afternoon from 17.30 to 22.30 (availability in the afternoon, however, is less frequent). The duration is approximately 1 hour. The laboratory is available all year round.
How to get there
The laboratory is in Manfredonia, easily accessible. After booking, the organizer will communicate the exact address where to meet him.
The organizer speaks Italian, but a translator can be available very often in english for no additional cost (remember to specify during booking).
