PlacenPeople organizers of this workshop are true craftsmen with many years of experience; they will host you in their laboratory, in Bari in the downtown area, to offer you their experience and teach you to create typical Apulian objects with your hands, which can be small sculptures, various objects and even necklaces. Once the object is made, you will also be shown how the decoration takes place (on another object of similar characteristics). This is because cooking the clay takes time: if you want, you can bring your little work of art right away with you, but otherwise you will have to let it dry and you can (with a little extra) ask for it to be cooked and sent to you in the following days.

Together with the craftsman you will live an authentic experience of local art!

Costs 

The cost is € 30 per person for the clay workshop and it includes the lesson of the craftsman and the materials used. If the cooking and shipping of the manufactured product is requested, the cost depends on the object produced and will be quantified at the moment.

Starting time

The departure time can be agreed with the organizer. The duration is approximately 2 hours. The laboratory is available all year round.

How to get there

The laboratories are located near the ancient city area, and are easily reachable on foot from the center of Bari.

Language

The artisans speak Italian, but are available if necessary to find an interpreter for other languages, free of charge or with a little extra. The presence of an interpreter is recommended, but not strictly necessary.
