Practical workshop of the ceramics of Grottaglie

Description

We will welcome you in a beautiful location: an ancient characteristic stone furnace in Grottaglie, that has preserved over time its colors and the charm of the spaces located in various volumes and surfaces connected to each other, a real rustic gem. Here you can witness the handmade manufacture of ceramic objects, their cooking and their decoration. You can also put your hands in the clay and try on the lathe the turning of an object, like in the movie Ghost.

You will also be able to receive at home the “masterpiece” done with your own hands. During the workshop you will be surrounded by a vast production of our ceramics and you will find souvenirs among many objects of our famous craftsmanship.

Costs 

The cost is € 44 per person for min. 2 people and max. 10 people. The only optional cost is in case you request the ceramic object to be cooked ans shipped to your home. 

Starting time

The starting time can be arranged with the organizer. The experience is available all year long. 

How to get there

We will meet in Grottaglie directly at our laboratory. More information on the meeting point and how to get there will be provided by telephone after booking.

How to book

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd).
