Pizzica lesson in Fasano

Description

The pizzica is a traditional dance of the Italian region of Puglia, particularly widespread in the province of Salento. Originally, the dance was believed to have healing and exorcistic properties, as it was danced to “drive away the spider bite” (pinch).

Pizzica is an engaging dance, so feel free to involve the rest of your body in the movement. Dance with passion and feeling, freely expressing emotions through movements.

The Apulian pizzica is accompanied by traditional music played with instruments such as the swing guitar, the barrel organ and the accordion. Listen carefully to the music and match your movements to the rhythm and spirit of the melody.

Costs 

The cost is € 30 per person for a minimum of 2 participants, and includes the lesson by the dancer.

Starting time

The departure time can be agreed with the organizer. The experience is available all year round.

Meeting point in Fasano, depending on the day we will choose different places.

The organizers speak Italian, interpreter on request.

How to book

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd).
