The PlacenPeople organizers of this cooking lesson are real Salento chefs, and I propose you a typical cooking lesson! You will be in front of a small vegetable garden and among centuries-old olive trees, and together you will dedicate yourself to the preparation of the perfect Salento foods: depending on the day they will tell you the secrets of one of the most loved dishes, the mashed beans and chicory, or fresh Salento pasta , the “tria”, or you will prepare together the orange chatter, typical sweets, with their soft cream. You can decide what you prefer, it will be an entrancing experience! If there are more guests, the organizer will choose the dish for that day, and you will also explore the possible variations of the proposed recipe, moving from the traditional to the innovative. It will be an opportunity to have fun and spend time together!
The cost is € 45 per person, lasts 3 hours, and includes the cooking lesson and the ingredients used, plus other tastings to conclude the lunch. For children up to 7 years the price is only 15 euros. If the organizer is requested to move (home lesson) there are additional costs.
The timetable is flexible and can be agreed with the Organizer. Please book at least one day in advance so the organizers can prepare the ingredients! 😉
How to get there
The PlacenPeople Organizers have their offices in Lecce and in the south of Salento. The location will be established during the booking, and after the booking the organizer will contact you to indicate the exact meeting place.
The organizers speak Italian and English.
