The first stop is Alberobello, world-famous for its characteristic trulli, the traditional stone houses with conical roofs that have become one of Puglia’s most recognizable symbols. The tour then continues to Matera, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, renowned for its spectacular Sassi, the ancient cave dwellings carved into the rock that tell a story spanning thousands of years. The cost of the experience varies depending on the option selected:

• €59: Self-guided visit in both destinations
• €70: Guided tour of Matera and self-guided visit in Alberobello
• €95: Guided tours of both Matera and Alberobello, including a tasting of local specialties

The tour is available everyday and starts at 8:30 AM with the departure from Bari.

Where it takes place

The experience starts from Bar and takes place in Alberobello and Matera, in the end coming back to Bari. Further details about the location will be shared after booking.

Cancellation

By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd).

This activity depends on the weather conditions: in case of unfavorable weather, the organizer can propose to postpone it or, if impossible, will cancel it (with full refund).
